Summer Solstice

Summer Solstice at Stonehenge

I am so excited to say that we have just started the beginning of the Summer 2021.   This is because it was officially the Summer Solstice at 9.26pm yesterday evening.

This was marked as ever by the the magical and beautiful monument that is #Stonehenge @stonehenge.  They took a live video of the sunset, albeit behind the clouds.   https://www.facebook.com/englishheritage/videos/792386891645348

It is magical to watch but more importantly this stone circle has been standing for thousands of years.  Marking the stars and sun and moons movements across the sky.   We think this is truly beautiful.

Unfortunately due to Covid they could not allow gatherings to take place close to the circle and we truly hope this is not the case for the Winter Solstice in December.  Let’s hope eh!

Now if you want to be part of something special like this …

Have you considered Naming a Star ?

At https://www.starnaminggifts.co.uk we can provide this for you for as little as £15.99.

Now lets get back to watching the sun set on the Salisbury plains….
